Amazingly, this year marks my 30th year in the design industry as Art/Creative Director - Designer - Visual Communicator.

From my early graphic design work on regional publications like the Metro Times in Detroit and information graphics for Crain's Detroit Business Journal, to commercial interior design and signage projects in San Diego over a 10 year period, my design skill set was broadening. From SoCal I ventured east to SoFla (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) where I worked on yacht, luxury goods and annual reports, to my current 10 year stint in NE Florida where I have worked on food packaging, healthcare projects and began teaching graphic design to round out my career as a designer, among other projects and interests.

My diverse range of project experience for numerous industries shows my adaptability at creatively solving a wide variety and scope of projects. I believe this diversity brings a unique viewpoint to solving individual client project needs.

My project experience is in three areas:

  1. Graphic Design for print and new media
  2. Environmental Graphics and Architectural Signage
  3. Interior Design for Commercial Interiors

As a design educator, I enjoy the leadership and mentoring role in teaching design and process with my students.
In return I receive inspiration from our designers of the future while keeping on top of new software and trends.
